Care of Rudraksha
Rudraksha are used in milk, everyday it should be properly cleaned, otherwise milk-soaked Rudraksha attracts ants, household flies and also fungus.
- While rubbing the Rudraksha for paste, face part should be upwards.
- To preserve costly Rudrakshas of various faces available rarely, keep the Rudrakshas soaked in mustard oil for 3 hours and then use. No cracks or deshaping will occur.
- Regular cleaning of Rudraksha by a clean, fresh tooth brush with soap nut water, helps the points(Pores) to interact and radiate the collected energy properly.

- Important days for wearing Rudraksha are Monday, poornima, amavasya and Maha shivarathri day for better results. Wearing Rudrakshas on these days brings excellent results.
Important to Know about Rudraksha Therapy:
- Before starting Rudraksha Therapy Treatment internally, one must consult Rudraksha ayurvedic expert doctor having the full knowledge of Rudraksha therapy and principles of health.
- It is better to use only Chaturmukhi, panchamukhi and shanmikhi Rudrakshas in the beginning and later other mukhi Rudrakshas can be added according to need, as each of the “faces” (vertical lines-furrows) is said to have particular value to the wearer.
- For internal use as medicine, Rudrakshas minimum size of amlaki (Indian Goose Berry) and maximum below three years old are effective. After that Rudraksha will start loosing slowly its medicinal effectiveness. When mala or necklace is used for medicinal purpose it is better to change every five years to get required medical benefits.
