Action and Liberation: The True Meaning of Astrology

1

What do we all want from our lives? Is it to be free from pain or from the potential problems that are a major part of life? This is also the reason most of us go to astrologers, in the hope that we can use Vedic knowledge to free our lives from obstacles. As a student of this great tradition with years of understanding, I can tell you that astrology won’t be of much help in this regard.
I’ll explain the possible reasons for this. Firstly, even when God incarnates on this earth, they have to endure sorrow. It is a part of nature, and through it, we develop. The development of each individual is the development of nature itself.
Secondly, this Vedic knowledge (astrology) is of greater benefit only to those whose actions are guided by morality and discipline. We can never benefit from astrology while on a path of immorality. It’s like how a doctor’s medicine, no matter how good, requires a proper lifestyle to be effective.
Most remedies in astrology or the Lal Kitab are related to donations. When we donate, we free ourselves from those things on both a physical and internal level. What is the main purpose of life? The names may be different in all religions, but it is liberation. The final part of the horoscope also relates to liberation. When will this liberation be achieved? When we free ourselves from everything. As Krishna says in the Gita, our actions should be selfless (nishkam). What is this “nishkam”? It means that we keep performing actions, but tying ourselves to the results of those actions halts the system of life.
We all want to gain wealth and do better in our lives, so we must first perform actions and then continue to do so without sorrow or joy regarding the results. When we include devotion and knowledge in this cycle of action and achieve a sense of selflessness, we improve every planet in our horoscope. Performing actions will give auspiciousness to Saturn, the feeling of selflessness will benefit Jupiter, and this process of action will strengthen the Moon and your aura will strengthen the Sun.
We strengthen ourselves through our actions and, more importantly, through the intention behind them. This intention is given to your future. I have seen that most charts in a family have a lot of similarities. We don’t just give our future generations our property or name; we also pass on the burden of our actions and thoughts. The position of Mercury with the Sun in a chart clearly shows this

“Pets, Dharma, and the Cosmic Connection”

2

“I am the source of all creation; everything emanates from Me. The wise who understand this engage in My devotion with all their heart.”
— Bhagavad Gita
Krishna says that he is present in everything, and everything originates from Him. Then why is there so much diversity in this world? The differences we see in nature are not actual divisions but rather a support system — everything keeps everything else in motion.
Many people ask: Should we keep pets, especially dogs or cats?
There are many answers to this, and everyone has their own reasoning. But if your love is genuine, then my suggestion is: you don’t need anyone’s advice to keep a pet. However, this love should not be for ego satisfaction or to show off.
Also, keep in mind that having pets does not mean you can ignore your duties (dharma) or karma.
Now, the question is: What kind of pet should you keep?
If you like dogs, a black female dog is considered best for financial stability, health, and happiness.
If you prefer cats, then a white cat is ideal. A cat brings in feminine energy, which is believed to attract wealth.
In astrology:
Dogs are associated with Mars and Ketu.
If someone’s birth chart shows an afflicted Ketu, they may have a fear of dogs or get bitten by them.
If a dog becomes aggressive just by seeing someone, that person should not be easily trusted.
Male black dogs are considered good — they provide protection and blessings.
Bringing a dog into your home during a Mars nakshatra and a cat during a Venus nakshatra is considered most favourable.
But remember: If you have any doubt about being able to care for pets, then instead of keeping one at home, you can donate food to street dogs or animal shelters. This itself is a powerful astrological remedy.
Also, never choose a large or muscular dog just to satisfy your ego, because if their energy doesn’t match yours, they can turn out to be unlucky for you.
People whose Moon and Ketu are close together in their chart should regularly donate food to dogs.
We must always remember that all living beings are part of God’s beautiful creation. So never disrespect them by giving them leftovers or spoiled food.
Maharshi Ramana, though a great saint, made special arrangements for non-vegetarian food for the dogs that came to his ashram — such was his compassion.

Krishna’s Birth Chart: A Cosmic Look at a Rebel’s Soul

0

Krishna was born in a prison, with Taurus ascendant and Rohini nakshatra. What does this indicate? Krishna was born in bondage, but he lived his entire life with a free personality. We all celebrate Janmashtami, but what is its purpose? To make our children look like Kanha? But when that same child grows up and rebels like Krishna, do we tolerate it?
Krishna was a rebel; he rebelled against the wrongs of his family, society, and finally, the state. When he fell in love, he didn’t hide it, and in a war, he didn’t hesitate to break a promise for his friend. He had all the characteristics of an exalted Moon. His personality is the opposite of Rama’s.
Today, we understand and view Krishna from a different dimension. In Krishna’s birth chart, the Moon is in the first house, which shows a brilliant and dynamic personality. People with the Moon in a Kendra (angular house) do what their heart desires and don’t worry about what society will think, whereas Lord Rama’s ascendant has an exalted Jupiter, which shows a personality dedicated to ideals.
In astrology, both the Sun and the Moon are called the soul and the mood. A person with a strong Sun illuminates the whole society by shining brightly.
The Moon has great importance in a chart, but how can the Moon be strengthened? For this, you can do some practical remedies. Travel whenever you get a chance and never waste water.
Food donation also strengthens the Moon. Besides this, the Moon also represents your source of income. The Kemdrum yoga in a horoscope is also formed by the Moon. The Moon always affects the fluids in your body, which is why when the Moon is weak, a person has water-related problems in their body.
From Krishna’s chart, we can see how a person with a strong Moon can face any difficult time. His mind always remained stable, which is why he became a yogi.

Transcending Rahu’s Influence Through Meditation and Self-Awareness

0

Osho said, “Why do you chase religion? You can invite religion to yourself, it can be with you, but this is only possible when we recognize the religion hidden within us.”
Meditation is the process of recognizing your own existence. When you recognize your existence, only then can you cross the first stage of Dharma, Artha (wealth/purpose), Kama (desire), and Moksha (liberation). There are many methods of meditation; I don’t want to go into detail about them, but meditation will help you during the Rahu Dasha (planetary period). Rahu has no existence of its own, which is why it wanders for 18 years, but meditation will help you overcome this wandering.
Rahu likes the infinite, so you should travel some and stick to whatever plans you make, but don’t make the plans too grand. However, all this depends on Rahu’s position. If Rahu is in the 3rd or 6th house in good signs like Taurus, Gemini, and Aquarius, it will give good results. Individuals influenced by Rahu seek shortcuts to success, but if Jupiter is strong, they won’t achieve success through shortcuts; they will have to work hard.
Rahu is not a planet, so it doesn’t give results directly; rather, it gives a direction, and you can correct that direction. Rahu gives an immense attachment to the house it is in, but towards the end of life, that attachment starts to fade. For example, a person with Rahu in the first house will be focused on themselves. A person with Rahu in the second house will focus more on family and money, but it can also give bad habits. In the third house, it gives valor and excellent communication. Similarly, other houses can be seen, but this will depend more on Rahu’s sign and Nakshatra (lunar mansion).
If you are unable to meditate during Rahu’s Dasha, chanting names (Japa) will also be beneficial. You can also reduce Rahu’s negative results by strengthening the lord of the sign in which Rahu is placed.

Dispelling the Fear of Rahu

0

Individuals usually consult an astrologer during the planetary periods of Rahu, Ketu, and Saturn. Among these, Rahu is a major shadow planet whose major period, or Mahadasha, lasts for 18 years. This is a significant portion of one’s life.
While this period doesn’t bring the same opportunities for everyone, some things are generally true for all, such as extreme ambition, delusion, and ego. There are many misconceptions about this dasha, such as it taking everything away after giving it or causing suffering. However, that’s not the case. This period provides a person with the pleasure of material resources, and by the end, before Jupiter’s influence, it leads them toward spirituality.
We must understand that suffering is essential in human life. The pain received during Rahu’s period can make a person spiritual. Rahu creates a lot of attachment to the house it is located in, but in the end, it also brings detachment from that very area.
You can divide this dasha into three parts. Generally, the last six years bring more mental distress, but in the middle six years, a person builds castles in the air. Despite all this, Rahu is determined to become a king, and if it is in a good position in a person’s birth chart, it will grant them a high position and respect.
We shouldn’t forget who Rahu is in the Puranas. After the churning of the ocean (Samudra Manthan), when Lord Vishnu was giving the nectar (amrit) to the gods in his Mohini avatar, Rahu saw him. This means nothing can escape a person influenced by Rahu; their sight is very sharp. They are also very swift in Kaliyuga because they are experts at changing their form according to the times. If you see a person with many faces at once, understand that their Rahu is strong.
Those who misuse the power of a strong Rahu for wrong deeds remain under the watchful eye of Jupiter, and as the saying goes, “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction,” they are held accountable. In the next blog, we will discuss some practical ways to protect ourselves from the negative effects of Rahu.

The Middle Path: Navigating Life Between Fate and Action

0

Buddha said, “Change is the eternal law of nature.” So why do some people say that everything is predetermined? You could say there was nothing like fatalism in Buddha’s philosophy, and Buddha didn’t say anything about astrology. In fact, Buddha’s Middle Path answers most of our questions. Our lives aren’t entirely dependent on luck or fate, because we humans have been given a strong consciousness, yet that same nature has also imposed many limitations. The path lies somewhere in the middle, and our lives are between both fate and action (karma).
Today, I’ll talk about astrology. When we visit most astrologers, we go in a distressed state, just like we go to a doctor. And with our fearful minds, astrologers scare us even more, making us weaker. Stay away from all those astrologers who frighten you. Remember, there’s a difference between giving a warning and scaring someone.
Astrology is a precious heritage of India’s Vedic tradition, and it should be used to make people fearless and guide them on a spiritual path. That’s why I started giving astrological advice, so people can move away from fear and understand the right things. I hope you’ll keep this in mind when we talk about astrology in our next blog.

New Beginnings: A Guru Purnima Journey into Vedic Astrology

0

Today, on the occasion of Guru Purnima, I’m embarking on a new journey. This journey, both external and internal, has begun, and it’s more than just a coincidence. As part of my internal journey, I’m launching this astrology website where I’ll regularly share my spiritual experiences. With God’s grace, if I can offer astrological help to even a few people, this journey will be a fulfilling one. When I first started understanding astrology, I never imagined this journey would lead me here.
Today, there’s widespread exploitation and misuse of this Vedic knowledge. My primary objective in starting this astrology website is for people to understand the true meaning and purpose of this ancient wisdom, rather than just seeking material comforts or answers to simple questions. Only Shiva knows how many stages this journey will have and what the experience will be like, but I will make every effort to remain honest and contribute to preventing people from repeatedly visiting astrologers. Just as you try not to go to the doctor all the time, try to visit astrologers less frequently too. I’ll soon try to get more like-minded individuals to join me in this endeavor and help bring spirituality to people in a simpler form.
