Osho said, “Why do you chase religion? You can invite religion to yourself, it can be with you, but this is only possible when we recognize the religion hidden within us.”
Meditation is the process of recognizing your own existence. When you recognize your existence, only then can you cross the first stage of Dharma, Artha (wealth/purpose), Kama (desire), and Moksha (liberation). There are many methods of meditation; I don’t want to go into detail about them, but meditation will help you during the Rahu Dasha (planetary period). Rahu has no existence of its own, which is why it wanders for 18 years, but meditation will help you overcome this wandering.
Rahu likes the infinite, so you should travel some and stick to whatever plans you make, but don’t make the plans too grand. However, all this depends on Rahu’s position. If Rahu is in the 3rd or 6th house in good signs like Taurus, Gemini, and Aquarius, it will give good results. Individuals influenced by Rahu seek shortcuts to success, but if Jupiter is strong, they won’t achieve success through shortcuts; they will have to work hard.
Rahu is not a planet, so it doesn’t give results directly; rather, it gives a direction, and you can correct that direction. Rahu gives an immense attachment to the house it is in, but towards the end of life, that attachment starts to fade. For example, a person with Rahu in the first house will be focused on themselves. A person with Rahu in the second house will focus more on family and money, but it can also give bad habits. In the third house, it gives valor and excellent communication. Similarly, other houses can be seen, but this will depend more on Rahu’s sign and Nakshatra (lunar mansion).
If you are unable to meditate during Rahu’s Dasha, chanting names (Japa) will also be beneficial. You can also reduce Rahu’s negative results by strengthening the lord of the sign in which Rahu is placed.
